Robotics Summer School

This year, F-AR organises a Robotics Summer School in Vienna and wants you to be a part of it! If you are interested in robotics and like to spend one week with people from different countries all over the world – contact us!

The goal of the course is to provide you with hands-on laboratory experience, programming and offline simulation skills and to give you an introduction to novel technologies and trends in the area of industrial robotics.

This hands-on programme provides you with the opportunity of practical work with industrial robots (from market leaders such as ABB, Epson, FANUC or Stäubli) in small, collaborative teams with a teacher. Within programming and offline simulation sessions you will gain skills in simulators, such as DELMIA Robotics, ABB RobotStudio, Epson RC+, FANUC ROBOGUIDE, Robotics Suite from Stäubli.

The Robotics Summer School includes five-days of lectures, workshops and an excursion to an automotive company. At the end of the course you will get a certificate for your participation and great effort in gaining new robotic skills.

Language: Depending on the number of participants, the workshops will be held in English and/or German (minimum 6 participants per group). On demand, the language of the workshops and instructions may be provided in Croatian, Hungarian and Russian (minimum 6 participants per group).

Age group: 17 – 99 years

Requirements: Creativity and joy in working with robots

Programme: The Workshop will include two separate programmes:

Programme 1: Hands-on laboratory experience, programming and offline simulation sessions with three of the available industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, Epson or Stäubli).

Programme 2: Hands-on laboratory experience, programming and offline simulation sessions with only one of the available industrial robots (ABB, Kuka, Epson or Stäubli).
